The METASPEED EDGE TOKYO shoe, Asics' high-level racing product, is designed with cadence in mind for runners who want to start fast and finish even faster. Runners wearing these shoes will be able to increase their speed by increasing their stride count and conserving energy with every step.
The new FF LEAP foam technology is super lightweight and responsive. It is strategically positioned in the upper layer of the midsole to provide maximum cushioning and optimal energy return. The top layer of the midsole contains FF TURBO PLUS foam. This configuration improves the foam's responsiveness while creating greater stability to prevent your heel from sinking mid-stride.
Thanks to a carbon plate, runners wearing these shoes will be able to save more energy while maintaining their pace during the final stages of the race. This feature will also help you break through the 30 km barrier.
