The METASPEED SKY TOKYO, Asics’ high-performance running shoe, is designed for runners who want to start fast and finish even faster. Runners wearing this shoe will be able to increase their speed by lengthening their stride while conserving energy with every step.
The new FF LEAP foam technology is ultra-lightweight and responsive. It is strategically positioned in the lower layer of the midsole to provide maximum cushioning and optimal energy return. The upper layer of the midsole contains FF TURBO PLUS foam. This configuration enhances the foam’s responsiveness while providing greater stability during the landing phase of your stride.
Thanks to a higher-positioned plate and a thicker midsole throughout the forefoot area (compared to the METASPEED EDGE TOKYO shoe), you’ll enjoy better energy return and a longer stride. This feature will help you break through the 30 km wall and maintain your pace during the final stages of the race.
