MANUFACTURING

• Lagoped often likes to say that they make their mountain clothing with you. Since Lagoped's inception, they've been in constant dialogue with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip you in the best way possible, always with durability in mind. Here's how their clothing is made:
• The yarn is made in Slovenia from polyamide waste like carpets, rugs and fishing nets. The weaving and dyeing are done in France (Isère). Small secret of manufacture, the fabric received a mechanical anti-duvet treatment (no chemical treatment). This is what prevents the small threads of the wadding from piercing the fabric.
• The wadding that keeps the body warm is made in Germany from recycled plastic bottles. No feathers at Lagoped!
• The down jacket is assembled in Poland. This makes it an entirely European product - a small feat for such a technical garment.

• Padding: 78.2% recycled polyester (r-PET) - 15% polyester (PET) - 6.8% polyamide (PA)

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• To take care of your HEYDO2 down jacket, machine wash it, with the zips closed at 30°C with standard detergent (not too much, and if it's eco-friendly, better!). You don't need any softener or other (bleach).
  Then, a gentle spin and a thorough rinse are enough, before drying in the open air.
  Use a specific spray without PFC to reactivate the water repellency. The down jacket is water repellent but it is not waterproof and will not keep you dry for long in case of rain. For waterproofing there are of course their technical jackets.

Did you know that?

• The ptarmigan - the totem animal of the brand - changes its plumage according to the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape from predators and increases its feathers' bulk to avoid the cold.
  The HEYDO2 down jacket is inspired by this: it plays the role of a middle layer, the one that insulates you from the cold and regulates heat.
  To enjoy your favorite activity whatever the weather, here are the basics: the layers.
  The first layer, called the inner layer, must be breathable, to guide perspiration to the outside of the garment.
  The middle layer is insulating, it keeps the heat in. HEYDO2 belongs to this second category.
  The outer layer protects against bad weather: waterproof, breathable, windproof. By building your outfit according to this system, you gain in comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the middle layer and put it back on when you stop. In short, multi-layering is the basis.
