The completely new Batura Hooded Insulation Jacket is the result of a quantum leap in insulation technology: the puffy filling material produces an effect similar to down - lightweight and heat-storing - but is derived entirely from recycling. The advantage of synthetic down is that it has a warming effect even when wet and is easy to care for. These insulating flakes are sewn into chambers in a manner similar to regular down to achieve the best thermal effects. The jacket can be tucked into the inner elastic mesh pocket, so it doesn't weigh down your backpack when climbing. The slim fit fits perfectly under the hardshell and also protects against drafts with its adjustable waistband. This water-repellent winter jacket, with a high-cut hood made of fully recycled material, is certified to the strictest environmental standard bluesign® and offers versatile use all winter long. VAUDE's Green Shape label guarantees an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable materials.
