The completely new Batura Hooded Insulation Jacket filling is the result of a giant leap forward in insulation technology: the puffy filling material produces an effect similar to down - lightweight and heat-retaining - yet is derived entirely from recycling. Synthetic down has the advantage of exerting a warming action even when damp, and is easy to care for. These insulating flakes are sewn into chambers in a similar way to ordinary down to achieve the best thermal effects. The jacket can be tucked into the inner elastic mesh pocket, so it doesn't weigh down your backpack when you're climbing. Its close-fitting cut molds perfectly under the hardshell, and its width-adjustable waistband provides effective draft protection. This water-repellent winter jacket, with its high-cut hood made from 100% recycled material, is certified to the strictest bluesign® environmental standard and offers versatile use all winter long. VAUDE's Green Shape label guarantees an eco-friendly, functional product made from sustainable materials.
