The fantastically pale peaks of the Dolomites are home to an extraordinary array of high mountain hiking trails. Built with this in mind, the Alp Trainer 2 is a low-profile alpine hiking and trekking shoe designed to provide impeccable comfort on long days in the mountains.

Improved grip and traction
Underfoot, the Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, exclusive to SALEWA®, provides improved performance and control on a wide range of mountain terrain. It also excels in wet and muddy conditions thanks to its dedicated climbing, traction and braking zones and aggressive crampons.
Total comfort
The patented Salewa 3F system offers a precise and reinforced fit. Its steel cable firmly supports the ankle and guarantees good lateral stability. Its climbing lacing system allows it to be adjusted right down to the toe area for better performance on the rock. The EVA midsole ensures superior cushioning and excellent comfort for a technical shoe.
