A carbon fiber plate designed for trail running. Ready to propel you over rugged terrain, the Tecton X 3 features carbon fiber plates with fins for added stability where it counts, and two layers of PEBA—Hoka’s lightest and most resilient compound—in the midsole. The new shape and repositioning of the lugs on the Vibram® Mega-Grip outsole with Litebase construction provide better traction, whilethe dynamic upper allows your feet to spread out as you run. The icing on the cake is a mesh cuff that extends from the tongue like a gaiter to reduce the entry of rocks and other trail debris, and a lightweight Matryx® textile upper makes this version more durable and better suited for trail running than ever.
