Ripstop is a fabric with a reinforced structure. It is tear-resistant thanks to its grid-like weave, in which thin and thicker threads interweave. If there's a tear in the material, it's limited to the circumference of the square. Lightweight, it is often used for outdoor activities requiring a high degree of technicality.
