Rack up the miles with the new, even lighter Vaporfly 4. This version is even lighter, without sacrificing performance. The secret? The carbon fiber Flyplate and ultra-responsive ZoomX foam midsole. The result? A running shoe you can count on for any distance.
Full speed ahead | Full-length carbon fiber Flyplate with a higher angle than the Vaporfly 3. The heel-to-toe drop is also lower. This shoe provides an exceptional feeling of propulsion on race day.
Lighter foam | Nike has lightened Nike ZoomX, the brand's most responsive foam. From heel to toe, it provides better energy return thanks to a slightly reduced midsole for greater responsiveness and lightness.
Less weight | The woven mesh upper makes the shoe lighter while providing comfortable and more consistent support. The heel and tongue are also smaller for even more lightness.
More lightweight | The midsole reinforcement at the heel reduces weight on the inside of the foot and produces a more stable stride. Nike has made the outsole lighter by using thinner rubber compared to the Vaporfly 3: more lightweight without compromising performance.
What's new in the Vaporfly 4? To reinvent the Vaporfly 4, Nike took inspiration from the world of motor racing, where small changes can make all the difference. The brand has further lightened the upper, midsole, and outsole without sacrificing performance.
