The ARO5 Race was designed for optimum performance and maximum breathability on the road. Built with results in mind, the ARO5 Race features an aerodynamic, ventilated design that dramatically increases airflow through 19 vents. Lighter than its predecessor, the ARO5, the ARO5 Race gives you the edge you need to overtake the pack. Combining further technical advances in optical integration, comfort and protection, the ARO5 Race is ready to go fast.

DETAILS:

FITTING : the BOA 360° adjustment system features an adjustment wheel that offers a more secure fit and maximizes safety. Overall improvements to the shell shape allow the ARO5 Race helmet to sit lower on the head for better balance, while adapting more naturally to the contours of your head.
LIGHTNESS : the ARO5 Race is lighter than its predecessor, the ARO5, thanks to a new shell design and other internal modifications.
PROTECTION : the Mips® Air safety system is a low-friction layer integrated into the helmet designed to reduce the rotation of the head, thus reducing harmful forces that could otherwise hit your head.
VENTILATION: the ARO5 features new front and top vents that dramatically increase air circulation and breathability. there are 19 ventilation slots on the top, side and rear sections of the Helmet.
LINING : the antimicrobial Ionic+ ™ lining activates in the event of perspiration, keeping you cool and controlling odors.
GOGGLES STORAGE : ventilation slots make it easy for cyclists to store their goggles. Anti-slip Unobtainium® parts keep the temples in place, while foam cut-outs on the inside of the helmet prevent temples from injuring the head on impact, creating a simple and intuitive eyewear storage space.
DESIGN : the ARO5 Race is embellished with a brand badge with Iridium® coating, reflecting the colors of the Prizm™ lenses found on Oakley eyewear. Each badge color is specific to the color of the Helmet, and all celebrate the history of Oakley eyewear.
