Ideal for technical high alpine routes, crevados on skis and intermediate level glacier racing, the Black Diamond Couloir is a technical harness with a full feature set.
Compressible, it shrinks to the size of an orange for easy storage in your bag or jacket pocket. The new version of the Couloir features a breathable and streamlined single-strand Vary-width Dynex webbing construction that offers lightness and durability. It has a quick-release buckle on the waistband with easy-to-adjust tabs and simple leg loops to put on while keeping skis or crampons on. The Couloir also includes our patented Infinity belay loop - a durable, low-volume loop that prevents accidental rollover due to stitching.
In addition to the two Ice Clipper pin holder loops on the waistband, it has an integrated pin holder loop on each leg loop to reduce metallic rattling during long approaches and shallow glacier progressions, and two webbing gear loops organize your extra cords, carabiners and other essentials.
