The ultra-lightweight Black Diamond ATC Pilot represents a technological breakthrough in the field of assisted braking devices. Offering an extra layer of safety for your belay, the ATC Pilot slips on just like other tubular belay devices and accommodates ropes from 8.7 to 10.5 mm. The durable steel braking surface has no moving parts, and its smooth, secure control allows for a gradual descent. Thanks to its easy rope release, the ATC Pilot makes single-pitch climbs less tiring for the belayer and safer for the climber.
