Description

Do we still need to introduce it ? GRIGRI is the reference belay device. In the gym or on the crag, it makes life easier when belaying, thanks to the cam-assisted locking system. It is equipped with an ergonomic handle for easy control and a smooth, comfortable descent. Both compact and lightweight, it can be used with all single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm. Perfect for route work!

DESCRIPTION

Belay device with cam-assisted locking for use on cliffs and indoors:
- common gestures, based on the accompaniment of the rope in the device and the permanent maintenance of a hand on the braking side of the rope,
- comfort of belaying, thanks to the cam-assisted locking: when the climber falls or rests, the rope tightens, the cam swivels and pinches the rope to block it,
- cam-assisted blocking offering great tolerance of the position of the hand on the braking side, regardless of the angle between the climber's rope and the rope on the braking side,
- rope installation diagram engraved on the belay device (inside and outside).
Exceptional comfort during descent:
- comfortable grip and easy rope release, thanks to the ergonomic handle,
- very progressive control of the rope's movement for a smooth and comfortable descent,
- 3-fold reduction of the handle for better control of the rope's movement on small diameters and less effort on the handle for large rope diameters.

- easy to use for lead climbing and top-roping,
