Description
The Black Diamond Method Slipper is designed for sport climbing on a variety of rock types, from gritty limestone to sandstone slabs requiring endurance and continuity. Providing ease of fit right out of the box, the Method prioritizes forefoot comfort after a minimal break-in period. But this level of comfort does not alter its technical performance: its degree of rigidity allows for better edge control for increased power, which is particularly useful for first-time cliff experiences. With a cambered but not pronounced shape, these shoes perform well on a variety of angles, from steep to vertical, making them ideal for versatility when you're looking for simplicity. The grippy rubber, inspired by the way our carabiners are forged, is molded, not cut, which optimizes the process: less waste, reduced weight, consistency of structure and improved comfort. The stretch-resistant microfiber upper provides next-to-skin comfort; the cozy woven material tongue lined with microsuede provides exceptional breathability and increased mobility. Method sockliner features Velcro straps for custom fit and optimized support.
