All-terrain Bib shorts for performance and durability in competition and leisure, with integrated storage, more compressive fabric and simplified, lighter construction.

Improved performance on singletrack and track: the TACTICA KIESKÄFER T5 replaces the GTC KIESPANZER C2 with a lighter, more breathable and compressive construction. Key improvements include the Type.911 textile and stabilizing rollBar, adapted from the Racing Series, bringing ultra-intense road performance to off-road outings. The thigh pockets are also larger, offering more storage space and easier access to your essentials. For the T5 generation, Assos has also upgraded the yoke with more shock-absorbing foam to mitigate repeated impacts on gravel and trail.

DETAILS:

Type.911 is an ultra-smooth, abrasion-resistant wrap-around mesh that offers stabilizing compression in a more opaque shade than the previous model. With UPF 50+ protection and odorControl properties, it's hydrophobic and quick-drying, reducing the weight gained through perspiration. Pockets feature K-Net inserts, a wrap-around, breathable mesh that offers stability and security.
TACTICA T5 is a cut that promotes mobility. Less aggressive than racingFit, it combines streamlined aerodynamics with long-lasting comfort and fewer restrictions on the bike.
rollBar: a patented reinforcement design inspired by the Racing Series. Stabilizes the yoke and holds it in place when weight is transferred during sprints, climbs and turns.
zeroPressure Waist: waist construction designed in a soft, ultra-elastic material to improve comfort and fit at the waist, without pressure or pinching.
PILtec Plug-In: a strip of lightweight, ultra-breathable fabric at the leg opening. Silicone micro-pins are invisible from the outside, but stabilize the fit and maintain grip in wet weather.
Integrated Storage: two triple-ramp pockets on the thighs store essentials and keep them close at hand, even on gravel or trail.
Shock-Absorb Damping Mono: a breathable 11 mm single layer for off-road comfort, designed to absorb micro-shocks and vibrations in gravel and on the trail.
goldenGate 2.0: the yoke is fixed front and rear with floating sides and center, allowing it to follow your body without restriction. New side cut-outs reduce bulk and friction throughout the ride.
3D Waffle: a patented triple-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates superfluous weight.
