A highly breathable version of our famous ski touring pants, the Ascendor Light pants are designed with ultralight, durable Matrix™ fabric, and feature a slim fit that won't slow you down on dynamic climbs. With its minimalist design in terms of both features and material, you'll almost forget you're wearing them, yet they're tough enough to stand up to the rock, your gear and the demands of mountain use.
These pants have been designed to offer optimal mobility while climbing, with a long gusset at the crotch and climbing-specific articulation at the knee to give you the freedom of movement you need when tackling the crux. The lower legs are more fitted so you can easily find the next hold, but the hems remain stretchy to fit most summer mountain boots. Protective Matrix™ RX reinforcements add strength, while specially placed zipped hand and thigh pockets give you access to your essentials when wearing a harness. The lightweight, fully visible, partially elastic waistband with two snap closures is comfortable and space-saving, with discreet belt loops that let you tailor the fit to your body type.
