Technical and functional pants for ski touring.

Made from eco-responsible materials, the NUNATAK benefits from European expertise: a protective German SYMPATEX fabric and a comfortable, stretchable, windproof Italian membrane. The combination of these two fabrics ensures perfect waterproofness on the thighs and buttocks, and windproof comfort on the rest of the garment. Specially designed for skiing, your pants are ultra-technical and hyper-functional: the crotch yoke is stretchable to facilitate conversions. They also feature belt and suspender loops, side vents and, above all, a RECCO® safety reflector

  • EXTRA-WIDE VENTILATION: side ventilation zips for optimum breathability and thermoregulation: YKK Aquaguard waterproof zips.
  • BOTTOM LEG OPENING ZIPS: 2 bottom leg opening zips above the gaiters, for optimized protection.
  • BOTTOM PUSHBUTTONS: 2 press studs at the bottom of the leg to adapt the fit to different footwear.
  • ELASTICS AND VELCRO® SYSTEM AT THE WAIST: Adjustable waist tightening thanks to elastics and Velcro® system, lined with belt loops.
  • RECCO® SYSTEM: RECCO® safety system integrated into the pants for improved avalanche detection.

Your NUNATAK pants take their name from a Greenlandic word for a mountain rising above the ice. To respect and protect these places, AYAQ has put all its efforts into designing an ecological garment, made from natural or recycled materials, because AYAQ wants to accompany your best mountain adventures without harming the environment
