The GTO is the pinnacle of the Total Comfort MILLE GT collection, the spiritual successor to the iconic CENTO and Campionissimo Bib Shorts. It features the most comfortable, responsive and breathable ASSOS insert to date. It is covered with our new, chafe-free and wrinkle-free insert. The GTO shorts are available in two leg lengths: STANDARD and LONG (3 cm longer than standard).
We know only too well that lack of muscle support, chafing and excessive pressure are the enemies of long rides. That's why we created the GTO shorts, with inverted seams and a radically redesigned insert that eliminates chafing and pressure on the most sensitive areas, while guaranteeing optimal muscle support thanks to tapered, wrinkle-free leg inserts that follow the body's curves perfectly.

Features:

The shorts are primarily made from our OSSIDIA fabric, which provides both chafe-free comfort and ideal muscle compression. Its non-mesh structure is made of ultra-fine, elastic fibres for better muscle support, breathability and silky smooth comfort along your lower back and thighs. The front yoke is made from ASSOS' latest LOSANGA fabric, which reduces pressure on sensitive areas.

Construction:

The shoulder and leg panels of the GTO Bibtights feature our rollBar design and butterfly yoke for proven stability. Each leg panel features the louvreTec gripper structure, which runs down the outside of the thighs to give you all the support you need while conforming to your body. The GTO shorts are available in two leg lengths: STANDARD and LONG (3 cm longer than standard).

Technology:

ZeroWaist: a straight-edged structure with a reinforced band for a more comfortable transition between the body and the yoke. More comfort and less pressure points.
SuperFlat X-FRAME: a single section of elastic material, folded over itself to form an X in the back and provide a good level of support and reduced vertical stretch in the back.
SkinGrip finish: a free edge structure with an ultra-light silicone treatment that keeps the shorts in place without unnecessary pressure.
MILLE GTO c2 insert: designed with patented goldenGate technology, with no visible seams and our inverted seams for optimal comfort without chafing. The front part is made of the ultra-light sunDeck technology, the successor of our iconic kukuPenthouse: an ultra-soft foam-free fabric that takes the shape of a shell to support the male anatomy and allow maximum ventilation. The insert also features our twin21 system, which has three distinct layers
MicroShock: a lightweight 11mm thick foam that forms the base of the insert and has been specifically designed to absorb shock.
FilterFoam: 10mm thick low density matrix foam ingeniously sandwiched between the microShock foam and the 3D waffle fabric to absorb even the smallest vibrations. Its open cell structure allows moisture to be wicked away.
3D waffle: patented triple-layer perforated foam with a second skin effect, which allows the skin to breathe better while eliminating excess weight.
WhirlKrater: patented perforation system with strategically placed holes for optimal air circulation.
