The redesigned, wider toe box offers an ergonomic fit and improved proprioception, allowing your toes to spread intuitively upon landing for a natural, fluid stride. A special mesh around the ankle, lighter than a standard running sock, provides soft support when the pace picks up. The signature arch support prevents the fabric from twisting and chafing in the heat, while a terry cloth reinforcement around the big toe prevents blackened toenails as the distance increases. The special 3D.Dots and Flat.Dots technologies in this ultralight model save volume and weight while delivering high performance. Six targeted dots provide extra protection at the base of the Achilles tendon. Underfoot, a smart pattern—50% 3D.Dots, 50% Mesh.Dots—not only cushions impact, but also improves grip in the shoe, stimulates venous return through gentle micro-stimulation, and encourages air circulation between the dots for better ventilation. The anatomical fit and technologies are specifically developed for the rigors of road running, while the low-cut, mesh fabric leaves no room for overheating.
