Packing all the features of the classic PRS bike into an ultralight package, the new Ultralight model barely moves the scales. The featherweight mesh around the foot and calf provides an unrivalled second-skin feel and exceptional comfort, quickly wicking away perspiration and moisture when you put the power down. Ventilation is second to none, so feet stay cool and dry no matter how long you're in the saddle. The redesigned, wider toe area also offers improved proprioception throughout the pedal stroke, while the signature arch support provides a comfortable fit and increases blood flow. It also prevents the fabric from twisting and creating hot spots or irritation when the sun beats down hard. Special Mesh. Dots and Flat. Dots on this ultra-lightweight model save volume and weight while offering high-performance benefits. Reaching halfway up the Achilles tendon, they offer extra protection, support and ventilation. Underfoot, a Flat.Dots and Mesh.Dots pattern in equal proportions adds grip to the shoe. It also provides gentle micro-stimulation to increase venous return, and improves ventilation by increasing airflow between points. The sides of the sock feature our new Aero.dots, running from the malleolus to the seam, which direct airflow to reduce turbulence at the rear of the sock and reduce drag as speed increases. The cut, higher than that of our trail and running models, is designed specifically for cycling performance and aesthetics while remaining within UCI limits.
