Description
The Puez 2 Mid Powertex reveal a modern, aesthetic design. They guarantee a smooth roll-out as well as lasting versatility and comfort on wild mountain terrain or cobbled city streets. They feature a mid-high upper in abrasion-resistant ripstop polyester, reinforced by an external toe cap and a protective rubber sole with a waterproof, breathable Powertex® membrane.
Their special trekking last, double EVA midsole with softer heel cushioning and recycled, soft, customizable CFF insole with Volume Reducer footbed provided promote enhanced comfort and a custom fit.
The Puez 2 Mid Powertex feature a Pomoca™ Alpine Trekker outsole for grip and traction on technical terrain. At the heart of its insole-integrated structure is the new Salewa Edging Plate II, a special thermoplastic frame that runs the entire length of the shoes, offering both increased flex and rebound for lasting walking comfort, with specific levels of stiffness and flex in the forefoot, and heel for targeted stiffness, in addition to enhanced stability. What's more, Salewa's 3F system, with Kevlar® cables, guarantees good support at the ankle and enveloping stability in the midfoot. This system is further enhanced by the climbing lacing that runs down to the toes.
These trekking shoes carry the Salewa Committed logo and meet our strict criteria for sustainability and environmentally friendly manufacturing. What's more, the recycled, customizable SBB footbed lining is made from recycled mesh. The waterproof, breathable membrane is PFC-free.
