Description
The Moraine Mid Pro GTX is a shoe designed for first-time hikers. In this version, the upper is re-assembled in oiled Nubuck leather and mesh. Comfortable right from the first try. Technical features include a Bluesign Gore-Tex membrane for waterproofing, and the RECCO system for traceability in the event of rescue.

- LINING: GORE-TEX BlueSign membrane, DWR-free, water-repellent and PFCec-free.
- SOLE BLOCK: The PRESA HIK-04 sole has been developed for versatile use in trekking and fast hiking. The midsole incorporates dual density in the heel to increase the feeling of comfort while walking, while a medial shank optimizes foot stability. The outsole is designed to perform on all types of terrain.

- ACTIVfit: ACTIVfit is a construction system that develops different shapes, insoles and models designed specifically for women's and men's feet. The models are designed and built to offer the best performance in various outdoor activities. Thanks to its experience and research, SCARPA offers absolute comfort. When we say 'absolute', we mean a subjective advantage that becomes objective comfort. This line sets a high quality standard for better performance, comfort, style and durability.
- ACTIVimpact: ACTIVimpact is a process applied in the manufacture of insoles. This technology uses materials whose physical and chemical characteristics will absorb the negative shocks caused by the ground and improve cushioning, in order to make the most of the energy expended during activity.
- Presa: Presa® is the ultimate result of the SCARPA Group's insole R&D. An environment of technological exploration and innovation, where experience and scientific research merge. Each Presa® insole is carefully developed with the footwear's context of use in mind. Measuring key performance indicators (including wet and dry grip and resistance) is essential to choosing the best sole for the activity for which the shoe has been designed.
- GORE-TEX: Products designed with a GORE-TEX membrane are waterproof, windproof and durable, yet highly breathable. These products will stand the test of time because they have been created to guarantee safety, protection and the utmost comfort on any terrain.
- Recco: A RECCO® reflector integrated into garments or equipment enables them to be located by professional rescue workers equipped with RECCO® detectors. RECCO® technology is a recognized standard deployed in avalanche rescue operations. Portable detectors are used by organized rescue operations worldwide. RECCO SAR helicopter detectors enable rapid coverage of large areas in search of a missing person. RECCO® reflectors do not replace the need to wear an avalanche beacon, nor do they replace the need for companion rescue. As they are always activated, they are an additional safety tool to ensure that professional rescuers can always locate you.
