- VIBRAM APPTRAIL DIVO: The TIBET EVO GTX model is equipped with a Vibram sole. For many years, this Italian manufacturer has been a market leader in high-quality soles. The VIBRAM® APPTRAIL DIVO sole has a modern, self-cleaning profile. Its qualities are particularly evident in demanding terrain. Whatever the environment, the pronounced heel makes descending easier.
- GORE-TEX: Guaranteed protection from the elements, even in heavy rain or snow: the TIBET EVO GTX is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. This innovative technology makes the boots waterproof and breathable.
- TWO ZONE LACING: Equipped with dual-zone lacing technology, the TIBET EVO GTX features separate lacing zones on the forefoot and upper. In this way, the shoe can be adapted to the foot anatomy and laced differently for ascents and descents.
- MINIMAL SEAMS: Large parts are used to design the TIBET EVO GTX upper to avoid seams and overlapping materials. This minimizes friction zones and considerably improves walking comfort.
- I-LOCK: lock, tie and you're done! Lacing the TIBET EVO GTX is simplified by a locking hook developed by LOWA for two-zone lacing. Once the laces have been tightened in the lower part of the shoe, they can be locked in place using this hook. By simply pushing the hook handles upwards, the laces are loosened and the instep can be untied.
- ROLLER EYELETS: To ensure that the laces pass through the eyelets of the TIBET EVO GTX without friction, the metal buckles contain small balls that minimize friction.
- X-LACING: The tongue stays in place without slipping or creating uncomfortable pressure points: for the TIBET EVO GTX model, LOWA has opted for X-LACING technology. This special lacing secures the tongue both vertically and horizontally. As it is independent of individual instep height, the boot can be adapted to any anatomy. Thanks to this technology, the pressure of the laces is not only exerted on the clamping hooks, but evenly distributed over the entire tongue.
- FLEXFIT® : When the upper of a shoe is flexible, the foot unwinds better when walking, saving energy (especially when climbing) and increasing comfort. For the TIBET EVO GTX model, LOWA has therefore incorporated a flexible section and a "Lace Loop" tightening system in this flex zone. This technology includes movable eyelets and a flexible loop hook to improve heel support and facilitate foot flexion.
- C4-TONGUE: The special tongue of the TIBET EVO GTX model significantly enhances boot comfort. For example, the tongue is more padded on the outside of the foot and has a soft end on the top. This asymmetrical cushioning ensures effective support for different areas of the foot. To respect the anatomy of the foot, the ankle recesses are placed slightly higher on the inside of the shoe than on the outside. A flexible fold has also been integrated on the inside of the foot.
