Effective protection

The Alp Trainer 2 is an evolutionary mid-high hiking boot with a durable, high-quality suede and stretch upper and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining that provides effective hiking protection in a variety of terrain and weather conditions. It has a generous rubber rock guard on the front for protection against rocks and scree.

Adjustable comfort

Designed for comfort from the moment you step in, it offers a snug fit and good support. The patented 3F System, with a steel cable, ensures firm ankle support and lateral stability, while the Flex Collar increases rearward range of motion and ankle comfort on descents. Plus, the customizable SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insole features interchangeable overlays that let you further refine the volume. Mountaineering laces allow you to fine-tune right down to the toe for precision on technical terrain.

Better grip and traction

Underfoot, the improved Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, developed exclusively by SALEWA®, offers better performance and control on a wide range of mountainous terrain and performs well in wet and muddy conditions thanks to its dedicated climbing, traction and braking zones and solid lugs.
