Description
For multi-day runs as well as classic day hikes, it's always best to let your feet breathe. TREK EVO GTX MID Ws makes it easy: this lightweight hiking shoe is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane that protects the foot in all kinds of weather. It also offers optimal comfort thanks to a reinforced heel edge, a discreet toe drop, a cushioning midsole made of LOWA DynaPU®+ and a padded textile collar. Locking hooks (which allow for two-zone lacing) and X-LACING® technology provide optimal foot support. The Vibram® outsole has great traction with triangular notches, and the multi-directional tread pattern allows for lightweight movement during the most demanding runs.

TECHNICAL DETAILS
- WEIGHT: 920 g/pair (UK 5)
- OUTSOLE: VIBRAM® ROCK TRAC® SENSE. The VIBRAM® ROCK TRAC® SENSE outsole not only provides traction, but also comfort with a Vibram® Megagrip rubber compound and a triangular profile.
- INTERMEDIATE SOLE: 100% Polyurethane (PU). Typically used in the manufacture of midsoles, polyurethane (PU) is a soft synthetic material with excellent cushioning properties. Thus, insoles containing PU are light, functional and flexible.
- INNER SOLE:
Approx. 10% Mesh. The net fabric is composed of a multitude of fine meshes, usually made of polyester or nylon, and is so called because it forms a net from different threads linked together. The manufacturing technique of this airy textile made of synthetic fibers provides excellent air permeability and regulates the humidity inside the shoe. Moreover, it does not wrinkle and therefore requires little maintenance.
Approx. 90% Polyurethane (PU). Generally used in the manufacture of midsoles, polyurethane (PU) is a flexible synthetic material with excellent cushioning properties. Thus, soles containing PU are light, functional and flexible. - 100% GORE-TEX LINING. Shoes with a GORE-TEX membrane are perfectly waterproof, airtight and breathable.
