Description
Renthal's revolutionary Integra stem combines high strength with ultra-low weight. The horizontally divided, two-piece clamp, uses just six bolts to vastly reduce overall weight. An ultra-wide, 64mm handlebar clamp increases torsional rigidity. Superior strength and structural stability is gained from the horizontally divided, two-piece construction.
The uninterrupted U-shape clamping area eliminates stress raisers found on most other clamps, which can lead to handlebar failure.

If your handlebar has a high rise (which creates a lever arm) or if you use an aluminum handlebar you can slightly increase the tightening torque, the one indicated by the manufacturers is generally low enough presents no to risk damaging the carbon parts (on which the contact surface increases friction and thus limit slippage).
