Peaty's Monarch Pro handlebars push the boundaries of Peaty's award-winning design with a dual-compound structure that places the right material exactly where it's needed. In addition, the core now features a recessed groove to absorb shocks and reduce vibrations caused by minor road irregularities.
The result? Enhanced grip, improved comfort, and rock-solid durability.
The Monarch Pro’s dual-compound construction allows the properties of each material to be placed where they are most effective:
- Upper half and inner rim: ultra-soft 15A rubber;
- Lower half and handlebar ends: 30A Duralite compound
The underside, finger grooves, and handlebar ends are molded from a firmer 30A compound called Duralite. Duralite foam is a unique blend designed to offer both exceptional comfort and long-lasting durability. This firmer compound retains its shape and structure, providing a more precise feel when you grip the handlebars and is ideal for protecting the handlebar ends from impacts and scratches.
Designed with fewer compromises and shaped with rider feedback in mind, all with the goal of creating a product that’s a little more “PRO.”

- Superior Grip and Comfort: Made from a blend of ultra-soft, high-grip 15A rubber. By combining this soft 15A rubber with a precision cutout at the core of the grip, the Monarch Pro offers exceptional comfort and control, effectively absorbing trail vibrations and hard impacts without sacrificing the feel of the trail.
- Durability and Control: The grip strips and bar ends, which provide excellent grip, are molded from a stiffer 30A Duralite compound to deliver exceptional performance, superior comfort, and rock-solid durability. The handlebar ends are also ideal for protecting the handlebars from impacts, scratches, and repeated stress on the trails.
