After four years, the test-winning Tech 4 brake needed an update - not a redesign, but an upgrade.
Introducing the EVO: with improved braking performance and updates to both master cylinder and calipers, the EVO offers enhanced control, power and serviceability in cross-country, trail and downhill disciplines. You'll notice familiar names from our existing range, a deliberate choice designed to make choosing the right brake easier than ever.

Trail-proven power with balanced modulation. The TR4 monoblock caliper with larger pistons and shared GR4 pads offers a 6.5% increase in braking ratio over the previous E4 system, ideal for trail and mountain use.

• Simplified bleeding and maintenance: a new master cylinder bleed port allows clean, efficient bleeding without removing the cover.
• Improved pad wear regularity: caliper adjustments to improve braking feel throughout pad life.

• Low-friction master cylinder piston.
• Brake lever pivot mounted on 2 annular bearings.
• Hinged clamp for easy installation.
• Adjustment knobs for lever attack (contact point) and lever clearance.
• Standard Post-Mount TR4 caliper, 74.2mm center distance.
• 4 larger caliper pistons.
• Black hose, 5mm diameter and 2000mm long.
