Run (very) long in all weathers: it's possible with the waterproof Ultra 100 GTX trail shoe for women, your ally over long distances in wet conditions.
Most ultra-trail shoes have a problem: while they're comfortable and have good cushioning, they're often too heavy, not precise enough and rather slow in terms of step progress. To get on the podium, you need shoes that give you everything you need to go fast.
The new Ultra 100 GTX has therefore been developed in collaboration with the best ultra athletes in the DYNAFIT team. The result is a shoe that masters the fine balance between comfort, traction and energy return, enabling you to cross the finish line in record time. And thanks to the Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane, you can use the shoe in wet and humid conditions too. Despite its generous volume and 30+ mm of support height, the Ultra 100 GTX provides outstanding grip and is highly agile and precise from the first to the last kilometer. The 6 mm drop corresponds to the preferences of high-performance ultra-trailers. The engineers opted for a Vibram® Megagrip outsole, a benchmark in the field of racing. The Ultra 100 GTX uses Vibram's new Traction Lugs for the first time. These innovative 4 mm high lugs provide more efficient traction and better grip, for greater safety and precision on all terrains. The midsole provides soft, comfortable cushioning, while being highly responsive and lightweight. The innovative material weighs 20% less than a conventional EVA midsole, yet releases 10% more energy. The anatomical construction of the heel, together with the Heel Preloader, ensures firm , secure support for greater control and stability. What's more, the Achilles tendon, much in demand over long distances, is better relieved. The rocker sole design ensures a dynamic , fluid stride , even on the last few kilometers when legs feel heavier. The Ultra 100 GTX features a classic lacing system that can be easily adapted to individual needs. The seamless tongue construction avoids pressure points, and you can safely stow the laces under the elastic tab.
