Description

The Campagnolo Ekar GT 13-speed sprocket set is available in four different options, from 9/36 to 10/48, which complete the range and correspond to the different specialities within the world of gravel; each combination provides a very fluid progression of ratios. Small jumps for the first 6 sprockets, while the jumps increase in the second half, where the largest sprockets are located. This feature guarantees you the best possible experience on your bike, helping you to get the most out of your performance on difficult courses and terrain.

The wide choice of larger sprockets means a more compact sprocket set for endurance and longer ratios for more adventurous riders. The sprocket cassette combinations are combined with specific, easy-to-replace chainrings to provide the widest range of ratios, smooth shifting and maximum efficiency, without any losses, unlike 2x systems. Two of the four combinations feature a 9-tooth sprocket. Extensive comparative tests have shown that the 9-tooth sprocket is as efficient as any 10- or 11-tooth sprocket, with no increase in friction through the specially profiled teeth, so that none of the power produced is lost.

The construction of the EKAR GT sprocket set follows the principles of Campagnolo design: a single block for the largest sprockets, five loose sprockets with 7075 aluminium spacers and an initial triple or quadruple chainring: this construction gives the sprocket set optimum lightness and responsiveness. With the appropriate rings and adapters, the N3W body is compatible with all current and future Campagnolo 12-, 11- and 10-speed groupsets.
