The lightweight Aero Blade™ on the upper rear section enhances aerodynamics—it reduces air resistance and improves airflow. Made from injection-molded carbon fiber, it enhances stability without adding weight.
The Acti Cage™ structure provides added safety and protects your head without compromising ventilation.

With large, strategically placed air vents and an optimized cooling airflow system, your head stays pleasantly cool even during the hottest rides, whether you’re sprinting or tackling long, slow climbs. Even with sunglasses on, you can feel the full, refreshing ventilation.
Developed in collaboration with professional athletes, the road helmet retains the dynamic, sporty design of its predecessor with even sharper lines.

TECHNOLOGIES of the Abus AirBreaker 2.0 Helmet:

Aero Blade™ with injected carbon: an additional component to reinforce the structure and improve aerodynamics—thanks to the carbon-fiber-reinforced material, it’s exceptionally stable yet lightweight
Acti Cage™: allows for larger ventilation openings thanks to foam reinforcement of the structure, while ensuring high stability
Cooling Airflow System: The ventilation openings are connected by internal channels to direct incoming air specifically through the helmet, ensuring maximum airflow and a comfortable environment for the head
Lower Edge Protection: The polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, impacts, and signs of wear
Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: a dial at the back of the head allows for individual adjustment of the helmet to fit the head circumference
Ponytail-friendly: Thanks to the height-adjustment system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns, or braids
Front goggle holder: a recessed area at the front of the helmet to secure goggles in a safe and aerodynamic position while riding
Floating padding: padding inside the helmet that clips into multiple attachment points, making it more flexible and providing better ventilation and greater comfort
Removable and washable padding: can be removed and hand-washed or replaced as needed
Flow Straps™ Pro: aerodynamic straps for low drag, less noise, and superior comfort—the upper section is slightly thinner to minimize skin contact
Sewn-in straps: For optimal aerodynamics, the straps are sewn in and therefore do not require a strap distributor—this ensures a particularly snug fit and prevents them from flapping while riding
In-Mold Process: A manufacturing process in which the inner shock-absorbing material made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) is directly injected into the outer polycarbonate (PC) shell, resulting in a durable and robust construction
Snap-lock closure: For safe and convenient use, the straps are equipped with a classic snap-lock closure (triangular connection) for opening and closing
