Description
Whether you're running errands around town, meeting friends or going to work: as an NTA-certified helmet, the PURL-Y ACE with LED light is particularly well-suited to electric bikes and S-Pedelec.
E-bikes and S-Pedelecs make it possible to reach high speeds on the road, even when not cycling. NTA-rated helmets, such as the PURL-Y, are adapted to the new demands of riding at speeds of up to 45 km/h. The PURL-Y is a helmet for protection against falls from height.
But the PURL-Y city helmet is also a good choice on a bike without an auxiliary motor. It combines safety and comfort. The shock-absorbing inner material is securely bonded to the outer shell using the proven In-Mold process. And to ensure that the helmet is both comfortable and safe, it can be individually adapted to the size of your head thanks to the easy-to-grip, easy-to-handle adjustment knob. Between the adjustment system and the lower edge of the helmet, there's plenty of room for a ponytail.
The trendy Urban helmet with a low back for better neck protection is easy to adapt to any style, thanks to a range of different color variants. In the ACE variant, the PURL-Y comes with a rechargeable LED light.
With the PURL-Y, you get around the city streets fast: Safety that sets the standard.

- Ponytail compatible: thanks to the height-adjustable system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or braids
- Reflective sticker: for greater visibility in the dark
- Insect net: keep flies and gnats away from the head without blocking helmet ventilation
- Rechargeable magnetic taillight: attaches to the back of the helmet with magnets for improved visibility - can be recharged with a micro-USB charging cable
- IP44: type of protection for electronic products such as lamps, certifying protection against solid foreign bodies larger than 1 mm and against splashing water
- Four different lighting modes (tail light): Steady, Power, Pulse and Flash - adapted to light and weather conditions
- Operating time per mode in h (min): depending on weather conditions and type of use, light operating time is at least 2.5 hours in continuous mode and at least 15 hours in flashing mode.
- Battery charging time (light): charging time until the battery is fully charged is approx. 2 hours
- Clip-on visor: pin-fastened, removable visor to protect from sunlight
- Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: thumbwheel at the back of the head for individual helmet adjustment to head size
- Flap Divider™: strap divider for individual adjustment of straps under the ears - with clip closure to secure the set position
- Comfort cushions: soft padding inserts for optimum wearing comfort, secured in the helmet with Velcro fasteners
- Removable, washable padding: can be removed and washed by hand, or replaced if necessary
- Snap closure: for safe, convenient use, the straps feature a classic snap closure (triangle connection) for opening and closing
- In-Mold process: a manufacturing process in which the inner cushioning material of expanded polystyrene (EPS) is directly injected into the outer shell of polycarbonate (PC), resulting in a durable, robust assembly
