The TREPS, like its brother the RASCAS, is a pretext for the new design team to assert the brand's heritage while creating its future dynamic. Technical constraints such as airflow control, an innovative visor system, protection and comfort were at the heart of our concerns, in order to tick all the boxes that make a helmet: a good helmet. It's fair to say that the TREPS is a superb helmet, which, like all good products, forgets itself in use. Concentrate on your riding, we'll take care of protecting your head and the planet.

DETAILS:

Airflow: Some naive journalists use the number of ventilation holes in helmets as an effective marker of their breathability. However, good helmet ventilation is above all characterized by the helmet's ability to actively and passively evacuate heat. To this end, the TREPS features large vents on both the front and rear of the helmet for passive action. But more importantly, for active action, there are ventilation channels inside the helmet to guide the airflow and keep the rider cool.
Bio-sourced pads: Why use synthetic fibers when nature does it so well? Unlike traditional materials, bamboo fiber offers a unique combination of strength, flexibility and comfort. What's more, bamboo's moisture-wicking properties help regulate temperature and keep the rider dry even during prolonged use. Bamboo is a sustainable resource, rapidly renewable and respectful of the environment, making it an ideal choice for eco-conscious consumers.
Everyday headphones: Because the brand wanted its headphones to tick all the right boxes, Urge has fitted the TREPS with the innovative Fidlock magnetic loop for a more pleasant, practical and secure experience. What's more, for a perfect fit, the helmet is equipped with a discreet and precise occipital clamp
SOFTER IS SMARTER: A mountain bike helmet designed to protect couldn't do without the best protection, so it's only natural that it incorporates ERT technology.
POP-OFF system: More than a simple dual-position visor, the POP-OFF visor system designed by Urge has a virtual 3rd position, which is a detachment position. Difficult to reach to avoid mishandling, it comes into play for higher forces. The aim is to reduce whiplash-type injuries and save the visor in the event of a violent fall. And of course, the visor is made of recycled material (nylon)
A place for your glasses: On the nose or stored under the visor, glasses are part and parcel of our outings, so everything has been designed to ensure that they blend in perfectly with the TREPS
NATURE & RIDE: Balanced between softness and aggressiveness, like the RASCAS with which it shares its upper mold sections, the TREPS is the open-face mountain bike helmet in line with the brand's values.
