Designed from the ground up, the Bluegrass Vanguard Core is a lightweight full-face helmet for committed mountain bikers.

In addition to being ASTM F1952 downhill and NTA 8776 e-bike certified, the Vanguard Core includes Mips brain protection and has been awarded a five-star rating by the Virginia Tech Helmet Lab.

The Vanguard Core leads from the front, keeping your head as secure as possible while you hit the trails.

Details:

  • ASTM F1952: The ASTM F1952 Downhill Mountain Bicycle Racing helmet standard is significantly more stringent than traditional bicycle helmet standards, and is the only standardized test for chinstrap safety.
  • The Vanguard Core exceeds ASTM deflection limits by 40%.
  • An ASTM-certified helmet requires much more coverage and is tested at higher impact levels.
  • Weight in M: 725 grams
