Sunn: a part of the history of mountain biking
Sunn is closely linked to the history of mountain biking and its democratization.
Founded by Max Commençal in the 80s, Sunn started with a BMX range, a trendy practice at the time. Located in Comminges, St Gaudens, the brand has seen the rise of mountain biking and created in the late 80s their first MTB inspired by a BMX.
In the early 90s, the success of Sunn MTBs was so quick that the brand became a reference in the industry. Its iconic models such as the 5003R, the Tox or the Revolt won the heart of mountain bikers and Sunn's downhill (DH) and cross-country (XCO) teams. Many pro riders have riden on Sunn bikes. We can mention Anne-Caroline Chausson, Nicolas Vouilloz or Cédric Gracia.
Sunn mountain bikes
Today Sunn left the Pyrenean foothills and the verdure of Comminges for Loire-Atlantique (France). The brand offers a very wide range of MTB models for all kinds of practices. Among the main models are the Sunn Prim and Sunn Shamann for cross-country, Sunn Kern for enduro and some E-MTBs.
