The right gravel saddle
Choosing the right saddle for a gravel bike should not be underestimated. Your comfort when sitting on your bike depends on it. If the saddle isn't right, incorrect positioning and aches and pains can quickly occur, making riding less fun and less efficient.
Saddle width and padding for your gravel saddle
The crucial criteria are the width of the seat and the depth of the padding. The narrower the seat, the more legroom you have, which means you can perform better. If you want to go on longer rides or multi-day tours with your gravel bike, we recommend a saddle with good shock-absorbing padding. The degree of inclination of your gravel bike saddle should also be taken into account.
Anatomically adapted gravel saddle
When choosing your gravel saddle, the gender of the cyclist should also be taken into account. Women and men differ in ischial anatomy, so some saddles are only suitable for one sex. The female pelvis is wider, which is why the seat is generally wider.
