Cinelli was founded in 1947 by a former pro rider Cino Cinelli.
The frames, handlebars, saddle and the stems made by the brand quickly became a great success. The Cinelli logo is inspired by a family heritage, with a red fleur-de-lis -symbol of Florence - and a green snake, symbol of Milan.
In particular, Cinelli innovated with the "quick release" pedals and the TiG welded track frames copied by all the others since then.
