optiFOAM² (Energy Foam Evo)
This new eTPU foam provides maximum cushioning while being lighter and more resilient than the previous version. It effectively absorbs shocks while returning the energy needed for a dynamic stride.
Salomon Aero Glide 3: Maximum Comfort for Your Daily Runs
A true benchmark for cushioning at Salomon, the Aero Glide 3 is designed to turn every mile into pure pleasure. It combines the new optiFOAM² foam with Reverse Camber geometry to offer a fluid, plush, and dynamic stride, ideal for regular training.

Why switch to the Salomon Aero Glide 3?
The Salomon Aero Glide 3 establishes itself as the ultimate "comfort" shoe in the range. It evolves with a new, more responsive foam and a seamless upper that wraps the foot like a slipper. Whether you're preparing for a marathon or your daily jogs, it prioritizes muscle efficiency and the joy of running.
Reverse Camber Geometry
Inspired by Salomon's ski expertise, this curved shape facilitates transitions from the heel to the forefoot. It provides a natural rocking sensation that makes running smoother and less tiring.
Seamless 3D Mesh Upper
The upper construction, inspired by Formula 1 gloves, places seams on the outside to avoid any friction points. The mesh is ultra-breathable and provides an immediate "second skin" feel.
Geometric Decoupling Technology
This design allows the shoe to precisely follow the natural movement of the foot, ensuring optimal weight distribution and increased stability at every impact.
Aero Glide 3: For Which Type of Runner?
The Ideal Runner
- Weight: Suitable for all body types, including runners over 85kg thanks to its generous and stable cushioning.
- Gait Type: Universal. Its 8mm drop is versatile and suits both heel strikers and midfoot runners.
Perfect Usage
- Training: Ideal for daily jogs, long runs, and recovery sessions where comfort is the priority.
- Versatility: The GRVL version allows for a seamless transition from pavement to dirt paths and forest gravel.
- To Avoid: Pure speed work like short intervals or ultra-fast competition (5km/10km) where lighter and stiffer models are preferred.
What size should I choose for the Aero Glide 3?
The Salomon Aero Glide 3 fits "True to size." The fit is designed to offer a fairly spacious toe box, ideal for long runs where the foot may swell.
Our advice: Take your usual size. For very narrow feet, be sure to use the last eyelet for optimal support.
Fit Note: Comfort is immediate from the first wear thanks to the padded tongue and the absence of internal seams.
