Your budget: the price of a bike rack varies from €30 to €700 for some high-end models.
Nowadays, the vast majority of bike racks are adaptable to the largest frame and wheel sizes. However, be careful, too few of them are compatible with FAT Bikes.
If you want to transport electric bikes, opt for a hitch rack (Neatt or Thule for example), as they are the only ones able to support the weight of an electric bike (weight and bulk).
