Continuing Zipp's tradition of innovation, the 303 SW is a modern classic wheelset, perfectly suited to road, gravel, cobblestone and cyclocross. The 303 SW rim incorporates the Zipp AXS Wheel Sensor for precise control of tire pressure on the bike. It allows you to monitor and analyze tire pressure in real time without the need for an external device mounted on the valve stem. Precise tire pressure adjustment enables cyclists to optimize speed and performance in a constantly changing environment. Before riding, check your tire pressure immediately; a green light means it's safe to ride. During the race, keep an eye on the pressure to get the ideal setting and detect problems early. The 303 SW's 40 mm deep rim design is inspired by that of the gravel-specific 303 XPLR, to use a wide rim design for high aerodynamic efficiency and low rolling resistance on a wide tire platform designed for modern riding at lower tire pressures. The rim profile offers low drag and better rim-to-tire transition, improving aerodynamic efficiency with wider tires. The wide rim position also means less tire deflection, reducing rolling resistance.

The combination of a wider tire, greater tire volume and lower tire pressure reduces rider fatigue by smoothing the ride on imperfect pavement and road conditions - the tire and wheel system absorbs the jolts, not the rider. A new carbon composition and design has also improved the 303 SW's already high impact resistance by almost 10%, while keeping its weight down. The 303 SW is optimized for tire widths from 30 to 35 mm. 303 SW rims feature a refined shape that helps protect the tire in the event of an impact that would otherwise cause a pinch puncture. At the center of it all is the ZR1 hub, which now features stainless steel bearings for improved durability and smoother performance.
