The Zeal Hi-Vis wetsuit is the evolution of the Openwater RS1 SW wetsuit.
The Zeal Hi-Vis combines visibility, buoyancy and stretchability, making it ideal for the toughest open-water conditions. It features a larger surface area of high-visibility orange on the arms, legs and back for added safety. The buoyancy generated by Aerodome 2 technology gives swimmers a sense of security during their open-water adventures. To increase thermal insulation and improve waterproofing, the suit incorporates a second layer of "batwing" neoprene, which prevents water from seeping through the zipper and neck.
DETAILS
- Feeling confident in the water: the perfect balance of buoyancy, elasticity, visibility and thermal insulation will give you the confidence to swim in open water. What's more, this wetsuit features Restube Ready technology, allowing you to attach the Restube buoy.
- Maximum visibility: End and back panels feature 39 HV (Hi-Vis) technology, a high-visibility fabric that makes you easy to spot in all weather conditions.
- High buoyancy: The incorporation of technologies such as Aerodome 2 gives this wetsuit high buoyancy for a feeling of confidence in the water.
- Thermal insulation: 5 mm thick leg inserts and Batwing hood provide superior thermal insulation.
FLEXIBILITY. The incorporation of technologies such as Aerodome 2 gives this wetsuit great buoyancy for a feeling of confidence in the water
- 39+: Yamamoto 39 neoprene is combined with the highly stretchable Infinity Skin 2 lining and SCS surface treatment. The latter, providing a smooth surface, helps reduce resistance and friction with water, improving the suit's hydrodynamic properties.
- 39HV: High visibility and a feeling of total freedom merge thanks to the combination of neoprene, Infinity Skin 2 lining and His-Vis high-visibility outer fabric. Thanks to this combination, open-water swimmers won't be restricted in their arm movements. What's more, the high-visibility textile enhances the wearer's safety.
FLOTTABILITY: The suit incorporates specific technologies to enhance buoyancy
- AERODOME 2: Applied to the lower torso, this technology gives the swimmer 30% more buoyancy than conventional neoprene. The secret lies in its composition: hundreds of cavities trapped between two layers of pre-treated neoprene. The inner layer consists of a high-quality, low-water-absorption lining that gives the neoprene greater elasticity. On the outside, an SCS surface treatment is applied, helping to enhance the material's hydrodynamic properties.
HYDRONAMISM: Surface treatments and adaptability, thanks to its optimized cut and the materials used in its manufacture, optimize the hydrodynamic properties of this wetsuit
- 39+: Yamamoto 39 neoprene is combined with the highly stretchable Infinity Skin 2 lining and SCS surface treatment. The latter, which creates a smooth surface, helps reduce resistance and friction with water, thus improving the suit's hydrodynamic properties.
THERMAL INSULATION: 4 mm thick leg inserts and Batwing hood provide superior thermal insulation
- Batwing: To prevent back heat loss through the zipper, this model features "Batwing" construction, which consists of a second layer of neoprene. This layer prevents water seeping through the zipper from coming into direct contact with the body, retaining a layer of warm water inside. It also guarantees an ideal fit around the neck to reduce chafing and the flow of water from the neck to the inside of the suit.
- USC: The laser-cut collar, combined with the Hydrolite inner lining, makes the suit watertight and prevents friction. This combination prevents water from seeping in, giving swimmers superior thermal insulation coupled with improved hydrodynamic performance.
