Choosing the right sized bike depends on the type of bike, your height, your riding style, and your preference. A correct fitting bike will be more comfortable, more efficient and more fun to ride

What to do if you are in between bike sizes?
If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.
Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
- If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
- On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

We built the Attain's 6061 semi-aero aluminium chassis with both comfort and performance in mind. A teardrop profile down tube helps the frame slice through the air and integrated cable routing reduces clutter, while Smooth Welding gives tube joints a premium, almost organic appearance. The tapered steerer and thru axles front and rear ensure pinpoint precision accuracy and efficient power transfer. Slender seatstays and a full carbon fork help reduce road shock and vibration for significantly improved rider comfort, and there's room for tires up to 32 mm. And, with a neatly integrated seatpost clamp and mounting points under the top tube, we like to think we've thought of everything... so you can just ride.
You can ride faster if you can stop faster, too. It's the reason that, for the Cube Attain SLX, we chose Shimano's proven 105 hydraulic disc brakes, and matched them with the fast acceleration and superb grip of Continental's 30 mm Grand Prix tires on Newmen Performance R.32 wheels – so you can brake later and stay in full control. Combined with the slick reliability of Shimano's iconic 105 2x12 gears, the pace of a semi-aero frame and the comfort of a full carbon fork, it makes for a bike that's as suited to a fast club run as it is to a longer weekend ride.
