The GT SF S11 cycling shorts feature an all-new, eco-responsible POLAR textile that offers medium-weight thermoregulation with a soft, brushed inner face. With half of its components sourced from pre-consumer recycled sources, POLAR takes another step towards sustainability. However, Assos has scrupulously tested the textile to ensure that sustainability does not come at the expense of insulation, breathability or wraparound elasticity.The external construction of the rollBar straps is the same as that of the Racing Series, reinforcing the stability of the GT S11's endurance fit: streamlined, stable and designed to stay comfortable all day long. The GT S11 yoke also benefits from RS trickle-down technology, combining the essential MILLE yoke with a soft, pressure-relieving Sundeck yoke.
DETAILS:
- POLAR is a medium-weight textile (250 g/m²) in wraparound mesh with a soft, brushed inner face. The result: a small volume capable of trapping heat without bulk. It contains 50% pre-consumer recycled polyamide, reducing ecological impact without compromising performance.
- The streamlined regularFit cut and anatomical shaping reduce seams, eliminating chafing for total comfort and easy layering. The straight-edged waistband and ankles provide slightly compressive support, reducing bulk.
- rollBar: a patented reinforcement design inspired by the Racing Series. Stabilizes the yoke and holds it in place as weight is transferred during sprints, climbs and turns.
- zeroPressure Waist: a waist construction developed in a soft, ultra-elastic material to improve comfort and support at the waist, without pressure or pinching.
- Raw Cut: race-inspired construction at the ankles and waist provides a smooth, relief-free finish for unrestricted comfort and low-volume layering.
- Shock-Absorb Damping Mono 12: layers of compressive foam in a 12 mm endurance platform. Thermoformed shaping reduces wrinkles and friction.
- 3D Waffle: a patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates superfluous weight.
- goldenGate 2.0: a floating construction that follows the body's movements instead of resisting them. New side cut-outs reduce friction throughout the ride.
