Buying guide

The Ortlieb Velo-Sling combines versatility, functionality, and style in a compact shoulder bag that, as its name suggests, can also be attached to your bike’s handlebars. With its meticulous craftsmanship and high-quality materials, it’s perfect for your busy daily life and provides everything you need on the go. Thanks to its wide, comfortable shoulder strap, the Velo-Sling is comfortable to carry, and to ensure it doesn’t get in the way when you attach the bag to your handlebars, it can be easily removed and stowed away. The two silicone straps and foam spacers included ensure the bag stays securely in place and stable on the handlebars. An additional elastic cord reinforces the attachment, prevents swaying, and can also be used flexibly to secure other gear you want to attach to the outside of the bag.

Another highlight of the Velo-Sling is its powerful magnetic closure: the magnetic poles attract each other almost on their own, allowing you to close the bag effortlessly with just one hand—ideal when you only have one hand free. Thanks to its sturdy, waterproof material and proven roll-top closure, the contents stay dry and well-protected, even in bad weather. Inside, an additional zippered pocket provides space for valuables or items you want to store separately. Whether you’re commuting to work, strolling through town, or going on a bike ride, the Velo-Sling is sustainably manufactured in Germany and will be your reliable and versatile companion in any situation.
