How to choose my Osprey backpack ?
Perfectly self-sufficient. A proven performer, the Kestrel 68 is a rugged, high-performance backpack that's your workhorse on any trail. The Kestrel 68 is designed for medium to long-distance backpacking trips or adventures that require you to carry a lot of gear. Its generous volume easily accommodates bulky gear or guarantees you enough room to carry more than the bare minimum. Your gear has never been easier to access with a huge U-shaped zippered opening on the front panel, making it easy to organize your gear or find what you're looking for at a glance. The Kestrel 68 also features access under the top flap with a drawstring closure, as well as a lower sleeping bag compartment with a removable divider. The Kestrel's back system was designed with comfort and stability in mind, featuring a proven AirScape back panel, waistbelt, and heavy-duty shoulder straps that allow for comfortable heavy lifting. The adjustable design allows you to easily customize the height of the back panel using the shoulder blade hook and loop system. The Kestrel 68 is loaded with compartments to store all your backpacking gear, including reinforced nylon water bottle pockets, two zippered waist pockets, a large front slip pocket, a top flap pocket, a pocket under the top flap with a key ring, and an externally accessible hydration pocket. In addition, the Kestrel 68 offers all the essential features for your nature outings; a built-in, removable waterproof cover, Osprey's Stow-On-The-Go pole holder, multiple compression straps, ground sheet straps, ice axe holders and a multitude of attachment loops. Whether you're heading into mountainous terrain, dense forests or winding trails, these backpacks set an unquestionable benchmark for comfort and performance.
