With the v2 version, Chromag has revisited the original design—which prioritized durability—to make it even tougher. The optimized design of the sidewalls and rim hooks provides 20% greater impact resistance than the previous model. The deeper rim profile is more resistant to deformation (flat spots), while the widened center channel makes tire installation and field repairs easier. Thanks to an optimized shape and intelligent material distribution, the brand has achieved all this without any increase in weight.

The BA30 v2 is made from high-end 6069-T6 alloy, featuring a fusion-welded and precision-ground joint that forms the strongest part of the rim. It is Chromag’s most robust alloy rim, proven on the world’s toughest trails and favored by riders who know no limits.
