Most child bike seats are not designed for modern mountain bikes, but the Pro EVO changes all that. This is the very first 2-in-1 child seat specially designed for mountain bikes. It switches from harness mode for 9 to 24 months to Pro saddle mode for 2 to 5 years. One seat, two configurations, four years of adventure. Bike compatibility/installation The Shotgun Pro EVO fits almost all modern mountain bikes, both muscle-powered and electric, with a standard 1 1/8" fork pivot and at least 10 mm of space under the stem. Adapters for bikes with integrated steerer tubes that pass through the headset spacers, or for specific headsets such as the Trek Knock Block, are available separately. We do not recommend the Pro EVO for bikes without front suspension, such as road bikes or beach cruisers, due to the lack of space between the child's feet and the front wheel of the bike. The Shotgun Pro handlebar is compatible with handlebar diameters of 31.8 mm or 35 mm, and stems up to 60 mm wide. The Pro EVO combines two seats in one. It starts in harness mode (for children weighing 9 to 15 kg) and converts to a Pro seat (for children weighing 12 to 27 kg) as soon as the child is ready. Precisely adjust the position and angle of the seat to fit your bike. You'll enjoy more space in the cockpit, a better steering angle, an ideal position for your child, and no parts that interfere with your fork or frame. The harness seat is equipped with a child-safe Fidlock® buckle, a 5-point harness, and a sternum strap. Both seat configurations comply with safety standards for their age group, so you can ride with peace of mind, from the early years to off-road adventures. NO CONTACT WITH THE FRAME Attaches to the fork pivot and seat post, with no contact with the frame.
