  • DRYOsphere: DRYOsphere is a hydrophilic, waterproof, windproof, and breathable membrane—non-porous and patented by SCOTT. This technology protects you from water and wind while allowing heat to escape, keeping you dry and comfortable in all conditions.
  • DRYOZone: DRYOzone DWR products are treated with an ultra-thin, PFC/CO-free durable water-repellent (DWR) coating—a polymer applied to the outermost layer of fabric. DRYOzone DWR reduces the fabric’s surface tension, so water simply rolls off.
  • PFC-Free Durable Water Repellent Treatment: Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated compounds, also known as PFCs, are a group of fluorinated substances that have long been used as durable water repellents for clothing in the outdoor industry. They are very harmful to the environment because they are highly stable and do not break down easily in nature. As a result, PFC- and CO-free DWR treatments have been developed. They are less durable but more environmentally friendly.
