Functional hiking jacket in GORE-TEX 3L

This jacket is ideal for technical trails and multi-day hikes in bad weather. Waterproof, windproof and breathable, this three-layer GORE-TEX hooded jacket with ePE membrane keeps you dry. Its carbon footprint is minimized thanks to its PFC-free membrane, recycled polyester material, use of a solution-dyeing process and easily repairable design. The Crater Light HS Hooded Jacket is fully equipped for hiking and adventure in all weathers.

TECHNOLOGIES AND DURABILITY:

  • GORE-TEX ePE membrane: Gore's ePE membrane is durably waterproof, windproof and breathable. This long-lasting, PFC-free protective layer is not only lightweight and robust, but also scores points with its reduced ecological footprint.
  • Through-dyeing: An innovative dyeing method that uses up to 90% fewer chemicals and 85% less water, and generates up to 12% fewer CO2 emissions than traditional methods.
  • bluesign® PRODUCT: The bluesign® system ensures sustainable textile production that eliminates the use of harmful substances. Bluesign® products guarantee responsible use of resources with minimum impact on people and the environment.
  • PFC-free DWR: Perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) are often used for waterproofing, but are virtually non-biodegradable. Mammut is committed to replacing non-biodegradable textile treatments with more sustainable, high-performance solutions.
  • Fair Wear: Fair Wear works to ensure fair and safe working conditions in all its textile factories. This non-profit organization works with factories, unions, NGOs and governments to protect workers' rights.
  • Recycled: This product contains recycled materials offering uncompromising performance and functionality. Choosing recycled materials reduces reliance on virgin materials and contributes to a more circular economy.
