Designed for cold-weather, day-long mountaineering trips, where speed and lightness are paramount, the Fitz Roy Down Hoody is a medium-thickness, compressible, hooded relay jacket filled with 100% Responsible Down Standard (Control Union CU 880272) with 800 cuin loft. By choosing Responsible Down Standard-certified products, you're supporting more animal-friendly practices in the down industry. Model made in a Fair Trade Certified™ workshop.

  • Standard cut
  • Soft, lightweight and durable 100% recycled nylon ripstop outer fabric, with durable water-repellent (DWR) finish with no intentional addition of PFAS for effective weather protection
  • Ultra-soft 100% Responsible Down Standard (Control Union CU 880272) with 800 cuin loft, for optimum warmth in an ultra-compressible, medium-weight garment
  • Mountaineering helmet hood with one-gesture adjustable drawcord and ultra-soft draft tube
  • Vislon® front zip with inner storm flap
  • Two hand-warmer pockets and two zippered outside chest pockets for easy access when belaying; the garment stows in its own front pocket on the left side
  • Large inner tote pocket with elastic opening for easy storage
  • Soft, elastic cuff seams and double-adjustable drawcord at the bottom of the garment to protect against the elements; model made in a Fair Trade Certified™ workshop, which means the workers who made it received a premium for their labor
  • Made in Vietnam.

  • Outer fabric: Pertex® Quantum 100% recycled nylon ripstop that prevents down leakage, 20 denier, 37 g/m², with durable water-repellent (DWR) finish with no intentional addition of PFAS
  • Lining: Pertex® Quantum 100% NetPlus® post-consumer recycled ripstop nylon, 10 denier, 27 g/m², made from recycled fishing nets to reduce plastic pollution in the oceans; with durable water-repellent (DWR) finish with no intentional addition of PFAS
  • Insulation: 100% Responsible Down Standard (Control Union CU 880272) with a loft of 800 cuin
  • Bluesign® certified materials
